Sociogram is an invite-only network for real-world activities across the UAE. You see what’s on from your people, join the ones already going, or host your own plan. It is built for plans with a time, a place and people, not for scrolling.

Every member is invited by someone real. That’s how we keep the network human.

An invite is a link a member sends to your mobile number. Open it, sign in with that number, and you’re in. There is no sign-up form and no waiting list.

If you don’t know anyone on Sociogram yet, you can apply to become an ambassador.

Members are 18 or over and sign in with a UAE mobile number. Other numbers will be welcome as Sociogram grows.

With a passkey, using Face ID or Touch ID, once you have set one up on your phone. Or with a code sent to your number. Or with your email and password.

The first time, you sign in with the number that received your invite.

You set up your profile in a few steps: your name, date of birth, city and gender, a photo if you like, then your email, which you verify, a password, and three to fifteen interests so Home knows what to show you. Then you’re in.

Sign in with a code sent to your number instead, or tap Forgot password on the email step to get a reset link. If you have set up a passkey, you don’t need a password at all.

Yes. Sociogram is free. Some activities are hosted by venues or organisers who charge for entry; the price is shown for information and paid directly to them. Sociogram doesn’t take payments.

Sociogram is an iPhone app and a web app at app.sociogram.com, which works on any phone or computer.

Your phone number is your identity on Sociogram: it is verified by SMS when you join, and it is the number a friend invited. You also verify your email. No documents are asked for.

A plan: a title, a time, a place or a link if it’s online, how many spots, who can join, and a word about what it is. Sports, food and drink, art, outdoor trips, volunteering, games, learning and more.

Public activities show on Home and Explore. Private ones are for the people the host invites.

Home shows what’s on today, this weekend and for you, from your people. Tap Filters to narrow by when, where, in person or online, cost, how people join, language and category. Explore shows categories, what’s trending, people and clans. Search takes a keyword, a name or a number.

Open activities take one tap. Others ask you to request a spot, and the host decides. You can join until the activity ends, as long as there is a spot. Once you’re in, you’re in the activity chat with everyone going.

The host approves who joins. You tap Ask to join, the host sees your request, and you’re told when it’s accepted. You can cancel a request at any time.

Tap the plus and choose Activity. Step one is the essentials: title, in person or online, what kind of plan it is, start and end, the place or the join link, how many spots, public or private, and how people join. Step two is optional: a cover photo, a price, age limits, up to ten conditions, languages, and Ladies only. Then Create activity.

Yes. Choose Online when you create it and paste the join link. Online plans show up with an Online tag.

Public activities show on Home and Explore for everyone who can see them. Private activities are invite-only: the host invites people, each gets their own link, and nobody else sees the plan.

Yes. Free, or Paid with an amount in AED and how you collect it. The price is an indication only: people pay you, the host, or the venue directly. Sociogram isn’t part of that payment and never changes how people join because of a price.

A host can make an activity for ladies only. Only ladies see it in the app and can join. It is set when the activity is created and cannot be changed later.

Yes. Every member is 18 or over, and a host can set a minimum or a maximum age for a plan. It shows on the activity page as Age restrictions.

You can edit it until it starts, and cancel it at any time; everyone going is told. You can also remove someone from the going list, and invite more of your contacts from the activity page.

Every activity has a chat for everyone going, before and after the plan. It stays for seven days after the activity ends, then it’s gone. Clans have their own chat, and you can message your contacts directly.

From the end of the activity, the host and the people who were there can add photos for seven days, up to six each. The uploader or the host can remove a photo, and any photo can be reported.

Yes. Save an activity as a template when you create it, up to twenty, and start from it next time. You can also leave the form and keep a draft.

No. If an activity costs money, the price is an indication and is paid to the host or the venue directly. Sociogram isn’t part of that payment.

Yes. The activity page has Add to calendar, in the iPhone app and on the web, so the plan lands in your own calendar.

From the activity page: share it in a chat, post it on your clans’ calendars, or copy the link. Public activities only; private ones travel by their invites.

A group that meets again and again: runners, foodies, board-gamers, dog walkers. A clan has its calendar, its members and its chat in one place.

Public clans can be found by anyone. Joining can be open or by request, and the clan chooses what non-members can see.

Tap the plus and choose Clan. Give it a name, choose public or private and how people join, pick a category and an area. Then, if you like, photos, a description, rules, a message of the day and your own names for the roles.

Open clans take one tap. Others ask you to request, and the clan’s owner or admins decide. You can also be invited by a member. You can cancel a request, and leave a clan whenever you like.

The owner, with admins and assistants they appoint. Owners and admins approve requests and manage members; assistants can create activities for the clan. An owner can hand the clan to someone else, and can disband it only once they are its last member.

Yes. The owner, admins and assistants create activities on the clan’s calendar, and can make one members only. Any host can also post a public activity on the calendars of the clans they belong to.

A public clan decides whether its calendar and its member list are visible to non-members. A private clan shows only its name and description until you’re in.

A short post for something you’d like to do: a walk, a padel partner, a dinner. Make four quick picks, including whether you want one person, two, a few or a group, and post it. People who are interested tap I’m in. When you have enough, close it, or turn it into an activity with everyone who’s in already ticked.

Home shows what’s on and what your people are up to: the plans they join and host, and their milestones. A heart on a card is a quiet nod. There are no likes to count and no comments.

From Contacts, with your permission, Sociogram checks which of your phone contacts are members and shows you who. Numbers are matched and nothing from your contacts is kept.

You can also connect with the people you’ve met at an activity, and Home suggests people you may know.

Send a connection request from someone’s profile; they accept or decline. Your contacts are the people whose plans you see on Home and who can message you. You can remove a contact at any time.

Invite a friend by their mobile number from your account. You can see your invites, who has joined, and how many you have left, and take back one that hasn’t been used.

Search finds people by name, email or exact UAE mobile number, if they allow it. Everyone chooses whether they can be found in search.

You can message your contacts, and anyone going to the same activity through its chat. In a chat you can send photos, reply to a message, and edit or delete your own messages within fifteen minutes.

Requests, invitations, activity updates and messages, in the app under the bell. You choose which you get for connections, clans, activities and messages, and whether this device gets push notifications.

Across the UAE. Activities can be anywhere in the country, or online.

You decide, in Account, under Privacy: whether your profile is visible to everyone or only to your contacts, whether your connections are visible to everyone, your contacts or only you, whether you can be found in search, and whether your photo, city, interests and gender show.

Your contacts can see the plans you join and host and your milestones, if you let them. The switches are under Account, Your feed.

Every member was invited by someone real, verified their phone number and is 18 or over. You can see who hosts a plan and who is going before you join, and block or report anyone. The Community guidelines have safety tips for meeting people.

No. Sociogram does not actively monitor private messages or clan chats. Where a message is reported, it may be looked at to the extent needed to deal with the report.

Any profile, activity, clan, message or photo can be reported from its menu. You can block anyone from their profile; a blocked person can’t reach you on Sociogram, and you can see and change your block list under Contacts.

Every report is reviewed. Content that breaks the Community guidelines is removed; a member who breaks them may be warned or have their account closed, and repeat breaches close it. Reports are confidential.

You can edit your name, photos, bio, languages and interests at any time. Your gender and date of birth are set when you join; to correct them, contact us.

Account, then Delete account. Your account is scheduled for deletion and you have seven days to change your mind. After that, your profile and data are removed from Sociogram. A copy is kept securely for five years where UAE law requires it, then deleted.

You do. By posting it you let Sociogram show it to the people it’s meant for. The details are in the Terms and conditions.

Venues, clubs, coaches and organisers can host activities as themselves, with a price if there is one. Promotion dressed up as a plan, and spam, are not allowed.
